Registration begins for postgraduate studies and professional diplomas at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Beni Suef University.

Good news for graduates of physical therapy colleges from inside and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
 Applications will open on August 15, 2025. 

Required documents:

First: Master's degree
(A minimum grade of good and one subject in the specialization must be very good - TOEFL certificate is essential for applying for a master’s degree from Beni Suef University, 450 points minimum or from AMIDEAST only
1- Master of Basic Sciences in Physiotherapy:
For the first time in Upper Egypt and South Egypt
2- Master of Physiotherapy for Internal Medicine and the Elderly

Registration and admission rules: Master's degree:
(1)- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or its equivalent from a public or national university recognized by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities with a grade of at least good, a cumulative GPA (not less than 2.3), and a grade of at least very good in courses (at least one course) in the specialization for the master’s degree.
(2)- The applicant must have spent at least one year after the training year (internship) practicing physical therapy.
(3)- Approval from the applicant’s employer if he has a job, or a written declaration of unemployment if he is unemployed.
(4)- Full-time study: The applicant for registration must submit a statement from the employer and sign a declaration of commitment to full-time study for two days per week for the master’s degree. The department council may specify the days of full-time study according to the specialization.
(5)- The applicant must complete a personal interview by the Department of Internal Medicine Physiotherapy.
(6) It is not permissible to register for more than one certificate or postgraduate degree at the same time, whether from within the same university or from other universities. The applicant must write a declaration to that effect when applying for registration.
(7) The applicant must pass an English language placement test such as TOEFL or the Academic English Test with a score of no less than 450 for a master’s degree (from the Academic Test of Beni Suef University or AMIDEAST). The applicant may be exempted from this exam if he provides evidence of his success with the required scores during the two years preceding the date of his registration for the degree or academic certificate.
(8) The applicant must submit his military service status, provided that he is permanently exempt from military service, has performed it, or has obtained a temporary exemption, provided that the exemption is valid for work for at least two years from the date of starting studies for the master’s degree.
(9)- Completing the application and registration file from the Graduate Studies Department.
(10)- Paying the required registration fees.

Required documents:
1- Application for admission.
2- Registration fee payment receipt.
3- Personal interview fee payment receipt.
4- Employer approval and full-time availability.
5- Approval from the applicant that they are not enrolled in a postgraduate degree or certificate, whether inside or outside Beni Suef University.
6- Certificate of completion of the internship year.
7- TOEFL English Proficiency Test (from the Academic Test of English at Beni Suef University or AMIDEAST)
8- Bachelor's degree and transcript showing the overall grade and cumulative GPA.
9- Birth certificate + 6 recent photographs.
10- Certificate of completion of military service or exemption from it (for males).
11- Certificate of good conduct.


Second: Professional Diploma
(Its duration is one full year. The minimum grade is acceptable.  Experience is not required. Passing the language test (TOEFL) is not required.)
1- Diploma in Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT)
2- Diploma in Fundamentals of Physiotherapy in Respiratory Care
3- Diploma in Strategic Planning in Healthcare Institutions

Admission rules and required documents for the special professional diploma
A- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or its equivalent from a private university recognized by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities with an acceptable grade and a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.0
(b) Approval from the applicant’s employer if he has a job, or a written declaration of unemployment if he is unemployed.
(c) Passing the personal interview held by the Diploma Board of Directors.
(d) The applicant may not register for a postgraduate degree at the same time, whether from within the same university or from other universities. He must write a declaration when applying for registration.
(e) - The applicant must submit his military service status, provided that he is permanently exempt from military service, has performed it, or has obtained a temporary exemption, provided that the exemption is valid for at least one year from the date of commencement of studies for the diploma.
(d)- Completing the application for admission and registration file from the Graduate Studies Department.
(z)- Payment of the required application and registration fees.
(h) The applicant must not have been previously dismissed from any other university for disciplinary reasons.

4- Employer approval or declaration of unemployed
5- Applicant declaration of non-enrollment in a postgraduate degree, whether inside or outside Beni Suef University
6- Certificate of completion of the internship year
7- Bachelor's degree certificate showing the overall grade and cumulative GPA
8- Birth certificate or an official extract thereof
9- Six recent photographs
10- Certificate of completion of military service or exemption (for males)
11- Certificate of good conduct
