Cooperation protocol between Beni Suef University and the General Authority for Adult Education to eradicate illiteracy within the governorate

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the approval of the University Council, in its session No. 187, to sign a cooperation protocol with the General Authority for Adult Education in order to eradicate illiteracy within the governorate this came in the presence of the university's vice presidents, faculty deans, and council members
The university president emphasized that the issue of illiteracy is one of the most important issues that hinder the development process in Egypt, so it is so important to rely on young people to eliminate it, as the project is implemented through them to eradicate illiteracy in villages, neighborhoods and governorate centers under the supervision of the university's specialized professors and the participants in the project and in cooperation with the General Education for Adults to announce the mechanisms for opening literacy classes, following up on graduates from classes, and helping them enroll in regular education.
Dr. Mansour added that the university will give the participants in this project some rewards according to the available capabilities
